My participation on this project started in its last 6 months, and it focused on developing the final outputs of the research interpreting and analyzing all the knowledge that was recovered during its previous months of development.
Workshop 3: Facilitation and analisis
Finalizing the delivery of workshop 3 with a diverse array of communities was my first task. I facilitated the final workshop of a series of 4, with citizens of Walsall College. This was key to forming the final visions of what the citizens imagined the future of nature in their community.
After this, I had to lead the analyzing process of the findings. I organized a cross-disciplinary session with the full research team where we went through all the knowledge; clustering and connecting information forming the final insights.
Connecting Roots Exhibition
One of the most important outputs of the research was giving back the findings to the same community, making it evident that the ideas they have are possible and good, bringing back the feeling of agency for the future they desire to a community.
From the design of the graphics, cleaning of the visual material, design of the space and interactions to the management of the purchase of materials and invitations everything was in charge of me and my fellow design researcher Tegan.
After two days of set-up, the Private Viewing received more than 50 attendees and continues up for the rest of the community to visit for all the month of July.
